Tango Dancing With Elegance
Caminito Team

We have been passionate tango dancers for many years and also have experience in organizing milongas, international tango events and dj-ing. This New Year's tango event is a new challenge for us, but it will definitely be repeated.

Milonga's Guidelines

To ensure a harmonious and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to adhere to the following guidelines:
-
Traditional tango:This event is dedicated to traditonal tango (close & open embrace). Nuevo style are not encouraged.
-
Invitation Etiquette: Please use the traditional mirada/cabeceo for invitations. Direct verbal invitations are discouraged; instead, make eye contact and wait for a nod before approaching the dance floor.
-
Designated Seating Areas: Kindly remain in the designated seating areas in the ballroom when inviting partners to dance. Please avoid practicing mirada/cabeceo in other areas such as the bar, smoking areas, or during food breaks outside the dancing hall.
-
Joining the Ronda: Establish eye contact with those already dancing before joining the ronda, ensuring a smooth and respectful entry.
-
Dance Flow: Dance in the flow of the ronda, maintaining your chosen path. Please refrain from high boleos or ganchos—keep your movements close to the floor to avoid disturbing others.
-
After Each Tanda: Clear the dance floor at the end of each tanda and invite a new partner. We encourage social interaction, so please avoid staying with the same partner for multiple consecutive tandas.
-
No Teaching on the Dance Floor: Please save teaching or practicing moves for outside the milonga. Let the dance floor be a place of shared enjoyment, not instruction.
-
Respectful Behavior: We kindly ask all participants to maintain a respectful attitude towards one another during tandas and throughout the event space. Please avoid inappropriate comments, gestures, or unwelcome physical contact. We aim to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and can fully enjoy the experience.
As organizers, we reserve the right to remind any participant who does not adhere to these rules and, if the behavior continues, to kindly ask them to leave the event. Kindly thank you for your understanding.
